Seniors Anna Byers and Lacey Entrekin each had double-doubles to pace Evangel Christian to a 59-30 non-conference win over North River on Jan. 8 in Tuscaloosa.

Byers had 16 points and 15 rebounds, and Entrekin 16 points and 13 rebounds. Fellow senior Bethany Letson also scored 13 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Lightning (6-5).

Kourtnie Blythe led the way for the Chargers with 12 points.
