The Montevallo Lady Bulldogs had 39 turnovers in a 61-23 loss to Midfield Jan. 8 in Class 3A, Area 8 action.

After trailing by two after the first quarter, Montevallo was held scoreless in the second quarter to trail 29-4 at the half.

Kiah Smith led Montevallo with nine points while Lauryn Lilly added six points.
