The Thompson Warriors ended the first round of Class 6A, Area 7 play undefeated with a 58-52 win at Prattville Jan. 8.

Duke Thomas led the Warriors (20-2, 3-0) with 18 points and nine rebounds. Caleb Johnson scored 12 points with eight boards while DeAndre Gamble added 11 points and 13 rebounds in a double-double performance.
