Pizza Hut helping get Calera band to inauguration

CALERA — Pizza Hut is helping the Calera High School Eagle Band, selected as the only Alabama band to march in the 57th Presidential Inaugural Parade, make it to Washington D.C.

The band is raising $60,000 for the trip to march in the parade, which is Jan. 21.

Any Calera band supporter that eats at Pizza Hut or orders their meal from Pizza Hut on Friday, Jan. 11 can choose to donate a portion of their purchase price to the band.

Participating Pizza Hut locations include the restaurants at 136 Market Place Circle, Calera; 1000 Oak Mountain Circle, Pelham; 1105 Ashville Road, Montevallo; 1385 First St. N., Alabaster; 1211 Seventh St. S., Clanton; 411 Chelsea Crossroads, Chelsea; 4725 U.S. 280 E., Birmingham; and 495 Helena Market Place, Helena.

To donate at restaurants or during deliveries, fundraiser vouchers must be presented. To download the voucher, click here.

Supporters can also order online from any of those locations and enter the promo code “CALERA” to donate.
