HOOVER — Alabama fans can check out their favorite team’s BCS Championship trophy at the Academy Sports store in the Lee Branch shopping center Jan. 12.

The Coaches’ Trophy presented by Dr. Pepper will be at the Academy store, located at 310 Doug Baker Blvd., from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. that day, according to the store’s customer service department.

Photos with the trophy, which is the same trophy that was awarded to the Alabama Crimson Tide after the Jan. 7 BCS National Championship game, will be allowed.
