The Chelsea Hornets gave the Pelham Panthers everything they could handle and more in the fourth quarter of their Class 6A, Area 8 contest, but the Panthers were able to take a 62-59 victory Jan. 11.

The Hornets scored 30 points in the fourth quarter after being held to 29 points in the first three.

Justin Brooks led Pelham with 20 points and Dakota Clark added 13 points.

David Simpson led Chelsea with 15 points and Darrell Foster added 13 points and 13 rebounds in a double-double performance. Malik Abrams scored 11 points.
