The Coosa Valley Academy girls’ basketball team defeated East Memorial 51-33 Jan. 21.

Coosa Valley (14-2, 3-0) took a 25-13 lead at the half and outscored EMCA 14-9 in the fourth to seal the win.

Danielle Richardson led Coosa Valley with 24 points, 12 steals and four assists. Terrie Sprayberry added 14 points and 10 rebounds.
