The Calera Eagles girls’ basketball team were unable to slow down No. 1 Oneonta in a 54-32 road loss Jan. 24.

Calera (14-7, 5-0 in Class 4A, Area 7) held Oneonta to a game-low seven points in the third but couldn’t cut into a double-digit halftime deficit.

Tyesha Haynes led Calera with 15 points.
