The Chelsea Hornets held the Oak Mountain Eagles to 24 percent shooting to take a 51-32 Class 6A, Area 8 win Jan. 25.

Chelsea (10-15, 2-4) jumped out to a 18-7 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Oak Mountain scored 18 points in the first three quarters of play before outscoring the Hornets 14-13 in the fourth.

Austin Washington led all scorers with 15 points for Chelsea. Darrell Foster added 10 points.

Deshawn Giles led Oak Mountain with 12 points.
