The Coosa Valley Lady Rebels were unable to bounce back from a rough second quarter to fall to Autauga 53-51 Jan. 24.

The Lady Rebels took a 10-4 lead after the first, but Autauga came back and scored 22 points in the second for a 26-22 lead at the half. Coosa Valley made a rally in the fourth that fell just short to fall 53-51.

Danielle Richardson led the Lady Rebels with 18 points and seven steals. Kaylan Rich finished with a double-double scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Kala Shaw added 12 points with nine boards.

Coosa Valley ties Autauga in the area with the loss, but wins the area championship by tiebreaker.
