The Spain Park Jaguars wrestling team defeated Pell City and Mountain Brook to finish 2-0 at a three-team dual at Mountain Brook Jan. 29.

Spain Park opened the dual with a 38-36 win over Pell City. Eric Russell and Kevin McClure each won by pins to lead the Jaguars. Leon Strong defeated Jordan Mitchell by technical fall while Johnathan Mote and Blake Daniel each won by forfeits.

Spain Park ended the dual with a 48-13 win over Mountain Brook. Strong and Mote each won by pins for the Jags. Russell and Marcus Jackson each picked up decision victories. Zachary Williams, Daniel, McClure, Cameron Young and Wade Fingerg each won by forfeits.
