HOOVER — The Hoover Board of Education voted to hire Neely Woodley as an assistant principal at Spain Park High School during a special called meeting Jan. 30.

Woodley, who was formerly the assistant principal at Thompson High School, said she was “extremely excited” to take the Spain Park job.

“I’ve always heard great things about your school system,” she said. “Two of my core values are to support my teachers and make a difference in the lives of our students.”
