Patsy Ruth Seales, 74, of Alabaster passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall C. and Era Maxwell Thacker and stepfather Lewis Hitt.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wilburn Seales; son, Tony Seales (Tammy); daughter, Debbie Bailey (Keith); sisters, Sarah Falkner, Peggy Littleton, Margaret Calamusa and Wanda Dunn (Arley); grandchildren, Dustin and Derrick Seales and Karsen Bailey; and a host of friends. Patsy touched many people in her community and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church in Calera on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013. A funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the church.
