Charles Whitfield, age 72, of Columbiana, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Evelyn Whitfield.

Charles is survived by his son, Chuck Whitfield (Danielle); daughters, Sheila Lackey (Jeff), Wendy McBride (Lee) and Lindsay Rayborn (Steve); brothers, Russell Whitfield and Wayne Whitfield; and grandchildren, Shawn, Kori, Maddison, Garrett, Will, Bailey, Braelyn, Zoe, Lennon and soon-to-be-baby Evie.

Visitation was held Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo. Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lee McBride officiating. Burial followed at Shelby Memory Gardens.
