The Calera Eagles overcame a fourth-quarter rally by Bibb County to win the Class 4A, Area 7 championship game in overtime Feb. 11.

The Eagles held on to a 10-point lead heading into the fourth quarter before Bibb County erupted for 20 points to tie the game 50-50 to send the game into overtime.

Calera turned up the heat on defense and held Bibb County to five points in the extra four minutes to take the 60-55 victory.

Ronnie Clark led Calera with 14 points while Henry Davis finished with 12 points. Jordan Bishop added nine points in the Eagles’ win.

Bibb County’s Jerrelle Goode led all scorers with 19 points.
