Martha Hood, age 92, of Calera passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at her home.

She is survived by her sons, John Milton Hood, Richard D. Hood and Ronnie M. Hood; daughters, Linda Sweat, Betty Robbins, Carolyn Jackie Hood and Rita A. Marone; two sisters, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo with Rev. Jeannine Pope-Carter officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Shelby Memory Gardens.
