The Kingwood Christian Lions softball team picked up a doubleheader sweep over Morgan Academy Feb. 25.

Kingwood (4-2) defeated Morgan Academy 13-11 in the first game and 15-0 in the second.

Kaylyn Ingram pitched Kingwood to the 13-11 victory while batting 2-for-4 with a home run and a double. Blair Holsombeck added a 3-for-5 effort with a home run and a double with Caroline Clark adding a home run.

The Lions wrapped up the sweep with a 15-0 win led by Taelor Holland inside the circle. Kendall Jonseof went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles while Holsombeck added her second home run of the day.
