The Spain Park Lady Jags took second in pool play of the Spain Park Jaguar Classic following a 9-0 shutout of Central Haynesville March 1.

The Lady Jags began the tournament with a 5-0 loss to Gardendale, but rebounded in their second game of pool play.

Spain Park quickly struck for three runs in the first, and then added four runs in the second. The Lady Jags added two more runs in the fourth.

Mary Beth Glass led Spain Park with a 1-for-3 performance with a home run and two RBIs. Mary Kathryn Bonamy added a 2-for-3 effort with a double and two RBIs.
