The Spain Park Lady Jags softball team was unable to hold off a rally by Leeds to fall 9-8 March 5.

Spain Park (6-5) took an 8-2 lead after three and a half innings of play. The Lady Jags hit four home runs to take the early lead.

Leeds responded and scored seven unanswered runs, including two in the bottom of the seventh to take the 9-8 victory.

Mary Kathryn Bonamy finished the game 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs to lead the Lady Jags. Mary Beth Glass added a 1-for-4 effort with a home run, Haleigh Sisson was 1-for-3 with a home run and Mary Katherine Tedder was 1-for-2 with a home run.

Bonamy took the loss for Spain Park allowing six earned runs on 12 hits with five strikeouts.
