Pelham High freshman Grayson Gladden won the Alabama Junior Golf Organization qualifier for The North and South Junior Amateur tournament on March 2 at the Robert Trent Jones at Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Ala.

The win qualified Grayson to play The North and South Amateur Championship ship on July 8-11 at the world renowned Pinehurst Golf Resort in Pinehurst North Carolina. The championship will consist of 90 golfers ages 15-17 from all over the United States.

On March 5, Gladden finished second at the Prattville Invitational shooting an 81 in less than ideal conditions while making the all-tournament team.
