Pelham High School’s Kristian Foster delivered for the Panthers softball team in the clutch with a 3-run walk-off home run in a 4-1 extra inning victory over Hillcrest March 7.

Pelham took a 1-0 lead in the third before Hillcrest evened the score in the fifth.

With runners at second and third, Foster hit a line drive over the center field wall to end the game in walk-off fashion. Foster finished the game 2-for-5 with two home runs, four RBIs and two runs scored.

Whitney Gillespie pitched 10 innings and struck out 15 while allowing three hits and one run in the victory.
