The Spain Park Lady Jags were able to answer a rally by Chelsea with one of their own to take a 5-4 area win over the Hornets March 7.

Chelsea scored four runs in the top of the fourth, but Spain Park answered with five runs in the bottom half of the inning to claim the win.

Mary Beth Glass went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to lead Spain Park. Haleigh Sisson picked up the win for the Lady Jags allowing four runs on four hits with four strikeouts.

JoJo Johnson led Chelsea batting 1-for-1 with three walks and a run scored. Kendall Cooper pitched six innings and allowed five runs on five hits with seven strikeouts and four walks.
