Carolyn Dawkins Jones, 72, a resident of Columbiana, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013.

Funeral service will be noon Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Columbiana United Methodist Church with Rev. Joel Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Gardens.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home in Columbiana.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Jones; parents, A.A. and Wilma Dawkins; brother, Charles Dawkins and sisters, Verla Mae Herrell and Bett Genry. She is survived by her daughter, Renea (Donny) Smith; grandchildren, Dustin (Jane) Smith and Kelani Smith; great-grandchildren, Adelynn (Addie) Grace Smith and Grant Harris Smith; sisters, Doris Brown Oakman, Nell (Hilton) Nelson of Mobile, Faye (Edsell) Grizzell of Chelsea and Linda (Wayne) Phillips of Cropwell; brothers, Bruce Dawkins of Calera, Donald (Landa) Dawkins of Columbiana and Edwin (LouAnn) Dawkins of Shelby; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
