The Thompson Warriors scored seven runs in the last four innings to take an 8-3 victory over Oxford March 16.

The Warriors scored a run in the first inning before Oxford struck for three runs in the top of the fourth for a 3-1 advantage. Thompson answered in the bottom of the fourth with four runs, and then added three in the bottom of the sixth for the victory.

Hunter Rigney pitched Thompson to the win allowing three runs on five hits with two strikeouts and five walks. Jake Walters threw two innings for the save allowing a hit with four strikeouts and a walk.

Houston Davenport led Thompson batting 2-for-3 while Blake Grill finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Dee Tolbert went 1-for-3 with a double.
