Amelia O’Keefe, age 80, of Calera, passed away on March 13, 2013, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Philip Charles O’Keefe.

Amelia is survived by her daughter, Colleen O’Keefe Hendrix (Edward Scott) of Calera; sons, Pastor Glen O’Keefe (Cheryl) of Hartford, Conn., and Philip Charles O’Keefe Jr. (Tess) of Coconut Creek, Fla.; sisters, Celly, Bing, Naty and Thelma; grandchildren, Stephanie, Katie, Alyssa and Serah; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Isabella.

Visitation was held on March 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo. Funeral services were held on March 16 at 11 a.m. at Enon Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Trawick officiating. She lay-in-state one hour prior to the service. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery.
