The Vincent Yellow Jackets softball team was unable to recover from an 8-run deficit after two innings in a 17-10 loss to Bessemer City March 25.

Courtney Barber took the loss allowing 11 runs, six earned, on six hits with four strikeouts and nine walks.

Destanie Howard led Vincent batting 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Ashley Taylor and Jasmine Banks led the Yellow Jackets with two RBIs each.
