Teams hold steady in softball polls

Shelby County teams ranked in the Alabama Sports Writers Association softball poll held on to their positions in the March 28 release.

Pelham (19-2) held on to its No. 2 ranking in Class 6A. Oak Mountain (15-9) and Thompson (13-6) each continued to receive votes in the latest poll.

The Shelby County Ladycats (10–0) remained at No. 8 in Class 5A.

Kingwood Christian (14-5) remained in the top-5 of the AISA composite poll at No. 4. Cornerstone Christian (6-6) also received votes in the AISA poll.
