The Thompson Warriors softball team scored three runs in the top of the fifth to take an 8-6 road victory over the Chelsea Hornets March 26.

Sam Kusiak pitched four innings in the victory for Thompson. Haley Crumpton picked up the save in three innings of work.

Crumpton led the Warriors with a 3-for-4 effort with a home run and three RBIs. Ashleigh Short went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs.

Alexis Eisenberg took the loss for Chelsea inside the circle allowing four runs on eight hits with two strikeouts.

Alex Smithson led Chelsea batting 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI. Mallory Bradford added a 1-for-4 effort with two RBIs for the Hornets.
