The Hope Christian Eagles picked up a pair of victories in a doubleheader sweep of Tabernacle March 28.

Hope Christian (5-2) shutout Tabernacle 3-0 in the first of the two-game set. Douglas Skinner pitched seven innings of shutout baseball allowing four hits with six strikeouts and a walk. Matthew Hyde led the Eagles at the plate batting 3-for-3 with a RBI.

The Eagles scored seven unanswered runs to start a 9-2 victory in game-two. Hyde pitched three shutout innings with three strikeouts in the win. Chandler Donegan led the way batting 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored.
