Dorothy “Dottie” A. Davis, age 73, Calera, passed away on March 31, 2013. Visitation will be at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, on April 3 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at Wilsonville Baptist Church on April 4 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Columbiana City Cemetery.

Dottie was a member of Wilsonville Baptist Church. After retiring from the State of Alabama, she enjoyed serving on the Shelby Baptist Hospital Auxiliary Board with many of her dear friends. The things she loved the most was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her husband, Elford Waylon Davis of Columbiana; and her parents, Boyd Garrett and Eva Thompson Leonard of Wilsonville.

She is survived by her children, Jonathan Davis married to Kelly Ellis Davis of Columbiana and Melissa Davis Cole married to Joe Cole Jr. of Clanton; her siblings, Juanita Moore and Maggie Lou Armstrong; grandchildren, Clint Mooney, Jon Connor Davis, Jessie Kate Davis, Madison Lane Cole and Jodee Ashland Cole; and a host of other family and friends.
