Evangel Christian’s Colin Myers led the Lightning to an 18-5 victory over the Hope Christian Eagles April 1.

Myers reached base in each of his four at-bats including a solo home run in the first and a double to finish 3-for-4 with four RBIs and four runs scored.

Brandon Mackey picked up the win for Evangel allowing three earned runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and two walks in five innings of work.

Douglas Skinner took the loss for the Eagles allowing four runs on two hits in a third of an inning.

Andrew Thompson added a 2-for-3 effort for Evangel with a double and four RBIs.

Bill Etheredge led Hope Christian with a 3-for-3 performance with two RBIs.
