The Briarwood Christian Lions held a 2-run lead after three innings, but Homewood responded with a pair of runs in each the fourth and fifth innings to take a 4-3 victory April 2.

Tanner Cunningham took the loss for Briarwood (11-12) while allowing two runs on two hits in two relief innings of work.

Cunningham led the Lions at the plate batting 2-for-4 with a RBI. Daniel Robert added a 0-for-3 performance while picking up a RBI when he reached base on an error.
