Pelham’s elected officials will again meet with the city’s business owners on April 23 during Pelham’s second business council meeting at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena.

The meeting will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Civic Complex banquet hall, and is open to all Pelham business owners. The inaugural business council meeting, which was held on Jan. 22, drew about 75 attendees.

During the first meeting, Pelham Mayor Gary Waters and City Council members said they were working to create a more business-friendly atmosphere in Pelham, and said they would be reviewing all city ordinances related to businesses.

Business owners asked city leaders to consider changing Pelham’s sign ordinance, and encouraged them to ensure the city is kept clean.
