The Chelsea Hornets softball team battled back with three runs in the last two innings of regulation, but Mountain Brook scored a run off a Chelsea error to take a 5-4 victory in nine innings April 4.

Bailey Coyne took the loss for Chelsea allowing an unearned run on no hits in a third of an inning of work in relief. Coyne led the Hornets offense with a 1-for-3 effort with a double and two RBIs.

JoJo Johnson added a 2-for-5 performance with a double and a RBI.
