The Shelby County Ladycats finished second at the Andalusia tournament April 6.

Shelby County fell to Kinston 5-2 before defeating Prattville Christian Academy (3-1), Jackson (5-0) and Alma Bryant (3-2) to advance to the title game.

Shelby County (16-4) were unable to avenge a loss earlier in the tournament against Kinston in a 3-0 defeat in the tournament championship game.
