Shelby County Ladycats’ pitcher Kaitlyn Paschall held the Montevallo Lady Dogs’ bats at bay in a 7-3 Shelby County win April 18.

Paschall pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run on six hits with 13 strikeouts and three walks. Brittany Lansford led the Ladycats batting 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs.

Destiny Upton took the loss for Montevallo while allowing six earned runs on six hits with four strikeouts and six walks. Upton added a 1-for-4 effort at the plate with a double and two RBIs.
