When Ashley and Patrick David found their Greystone home more than five years ago, they were unsure if they were doing the right thing at first.
The home needed a major renovation, but it had the intangibles — the 7,500-square-foot house had a good floor plan to work with, and it sat on a lot of almost two acres, which afforded the family plenty of privacy.
Plus, the upstairs of the house had enough space to allow the Davids’ sons, Fenn, 11, and Fox, 8, to each have his own wing of the second floor.
“I loved the fact that they would each have their own bedrooms, playrooms, study rooms — whatever they wanted,” Ashley said.
