Jay S. Spates, age 48, of Harpersville, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted on April 30 at 11 a.m. at the New Life Church at Westover with Reverend David Wooten officiating. The family will visit with friends on April 29 from 6-8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Harpersville Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home in Columbiana is in charge of the arrangements.
