Thelma Marie Scott, age 95, of Montevallo, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, in Alabaster.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Scott; siblings, Curtis Horton, Cleveland Horton and Nina Logan.

Thelma is survived by her son, Jimmy Scott (Nancy); daughter, Nelda Jean Smitherman (Jesse); grandchildren, Melissa, Jessica and Hannah; and great-grandchildren, Michaela, Miranda, Ethan, James, Audrey and Elizabeth.

Visitation was held April 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo. Funeral services were held April 25 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Steve Logan officiating. Burial followed at Ryans Cemetery.
