Pets need a good home

Buster Brown and Mia are this week’s Shelby Humane Society’s featured pets.

These two have that little bit of something extra and it isn’t just their fancy names. Buster Brown is a 1-year-old retriever mix who is humble, yet charming; shy, yet eager to cuddle. He would love to go hiking, take long walks to ponder life and enjoys playing a good game of fetch.

Mia is a 10-year-old, medium-haired, white/grey cat with big beautiful blue eyes. She is both front and back declawed so would need to be indoors only. But don’t let her age fool you. This confident companion would love nothing more than to boss you around and keep you on your toes. She is a “spunky” woman with oodles of self-importance.
