FROM STAFF REPORTS

The Shelby County School of Technology third Annual Car Show, which was originally slated for May 4, has been moved to May 18 because of possible inclement weather.

The event will be at the SOT at 701 Alabama 70 in Columbiana.

This family friendly free event has added an arts and craft show for the first time. SOT sponsors the car show to raise needed funds to benefit its students to participate at the National SkillsUSA competition in Kansas City, Mo., in June 2013.

Event Coordinator A. J. Miller has planned a busy event. There will be a large variety of vehicles- both antique and late model cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors — vendors, oldies music, door prizes, food, silent auction, space bounce, games, shaved ice, cotton candy, popcorn and more for an affordable day for the whole family.

For information, call Miller at 541-9844 or send an email to ajlovesdaises@gmail.com.
