DRY VALLEY — Recently, a strong wind tore the steeple from the roof of Enon Baptist Church in Dry Valley. Now it’s available to go to anyone who will give it a good home.

The steeple, more than 25 years old, is currently behind a Citgo station close to the church. When it was torn from the church’s roof, it was damaged and cannot be placed back on Enon Baptist’s roof, according to Jo and Stan Dawson, owners of the Citgo station.

The two said they want to find a home for the steeple, perhaps as a garden decoration.

Anyone interested in the steeple can contact Jo Dawson at 665-7218.
