Peggy Armstrong of Saraland, formerly of Bessemer, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Clyde Armstrong, and her son, Thomas Wayne Sadler.

She is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Gayle Hightower (Gordon), Marsha Dayle Hayles (Donald) and Tanya Joyce Tortorici (Paul); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.

The family will receive friends on May 8 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
