The North Shelby Relay for Life event will be held at Thompson High School’s Larry Simmons Stadium instead of Pelham High School’s Ned Bearden Stadium.

The change came as the result of a scheduling conflict with the Pelham High School spring football home game against Russellville, said North Shelby Relay for Life organizer Paula Johnson.

The relay is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on May 17, at the THS football stadium, which is off Alabama 119 in Alabaster.
