James Arnold Honea Sr., age 86, of Westover, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on May 11 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Rev. Harold Newberry officiating. Burial will follow at Union United Methodist Church Cemetery located at 4321 Highway 32, Wilsonville, AL 35186. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on May 10 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church.

Mr. Honea is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Odesta “Polly” Evett Honea; and sisters, Katie Mae Winkles and Mary Elvie Durham. He is survived by daughters, Marcella Odesta Fussell (Tony) and Rebecca Ann Brasher (Dewayne); sons, James A. Honea Jr. (Wanda), Joseph Samuel Honea (Cindy) and Charles Morgan Honea (Debra); grandchildren, John Brandon Honea, James Nathan Honea, Cayman Leigh Honea, Jonathan Lake Honea, Melissa H. Davis (Jeremiah), Jessica M. Honea, Anna “Charlie” Honea, Meryl Fabien Predmore Barbe (Ryan), Nigel Morgan Predmore, Marvin Jaron Brasher (Donna) and Mary Lauren Bailey (Patrick); great-grandchildren, Kaya Angelina Honea, John Louis Honea, James Dylan Honea, Ryland Davis and Luke Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
