Melissa Ann Hawk, age 29, of Vincent, died on June 5, 2013, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel on June 7 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. with funeral services immediately following at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Brother Philip Dukes. Burial will be held in Harpersville Cemetery.

She is survived by her parents, Gloria and Jerry Hawk Sr. of Vincent; brother, Jerry Hawk Jr. (Amy) of Vincent; uncles, Michael Abernathy (Jaime), Charles Hawk (Shirley), Mark Hawk and Wayne Hawk (Donna); aunts, Sandra Mann and Elaine Mobley (Joe); and nieces, Mackenzie and Lillia.

Pallbearers are Jerry Hawk Sr., Jerry Hawk Jr., Charles Hawk and Michael Abernathy.
