William H. (Bill) “Bush” Brasher, age 75, of Chelsea, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013. The family will receive friends at Chelsea Church of God from 5-7 p.m. on June 19 followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mike Kiker and Rev. Tim Cox officiating. A private burial will be held on Thursday at K-Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Chelsea Church of God Building Fund, 2020 Highway 39, Chelsea, AL 35043. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Coy B. Brasher and Ella Payton Brasher; and brother, Reggie Brasher. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Bradley Brasher; son, Todd Brasher (Kelley); brother, Harvey Brasher (Julia); sister-in-law, Connie Brasher; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Bill was a loving husband, father and friend. He attended Chelsea Church of God where he was known as the “coffee maker” and was also a member of the “Roo Crew” where he enjoyed coffee and fellowship each morning with friends.
