Mr. Johnny Irvin was born on Feb. 1, 1934, in Hamilton, and passed away on June 18, 2013, in his home. Mr. Irvin was the son of Elbert L. and Mellie Irvin. He was a retired electrician from American Cast Iron Pipe Company.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; a son, Wade (Judy); a daughter, Teresa Eckart (Sonny); nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lula Mae Irvin; son, Alan Irvin; sister, Jewel Evans; and brother, Ray Irvin.

Funeral services will be held on June 22 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Alabaster. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial in Crestview Memorial Gardens, Adamsville. Rev. Leon White officiating.
