The Alabama Department of Transportation will close portions of Alabama 119 from in Alabaster this week as crews continue repaving the road.

ALDOT began work on the road at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, and will continue holding lane closures each night through the night of Thursday, June 27. The work will take place from 7 p.m.-6 a.m. each night.

As a result of the repaving operation, ALDOT will close various portions of the northbound and southbound lanes of Alabama 119 from the U.S. 31 intersection to the Shelby County 26 intersection near the Publix shopping center.
