Frances Grubbs

Frances Grubbs passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Benjamin F. Grubbs. She leaves behind one daughter, Ginger (Joey); two grandchildren, Brandon (Kelli) and Ben (Megan); and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Peyton.

The family will receive friends and family July 2 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150 in Hoover from 6-8 p.m. Graveside will be July 3 at 10 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Palliative and Supportive Care Unit of UAB c/o David Allen FOT 1227, 1530 3rd Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35294-3412. This group was outstanding throughout the entire care of mother/grandmother. They frequently went above and beyond in their support and care. We feel this is a small way that we can repay them with hopes that we can get a room dedicated in her name.
